Wow, that is some serious gear.
It's interesting, according to the cameras meter it's only a stop or so, but it's full of crap. The filter is pitch black to the naked eye, so composing is fun, take the filter off, compose, put filter on, shoot. The blur is de to IR light focusing at a different wavelength than visible light. I'll shoot with autofocus next time as the results tend to be better.
I've been looking at buying a prime lens actually. Been looking at the cheapo 50mm 1.8, mostly for portrait work on weddings etc. I was shooting with a friends 35mm 1.4 L the other day, wow!
